Winter Wrap up

Hey, hi, how are you? I’ve been AWOL, I know. It was unintentional and due to a number of things, mostly because we have been on and off the Winter cold, flu, and tonsillitis merry-go-round since about June.

Then my husband got the tonsillitis, something he also never gets, and was incredibly sick as well, and I’ve been feeling very run down and exhausted as well, so that last thing on my mind was blogging.

We’re back! February slipped by in the blink of an eye and alas, there was no podcast. The Pop Culture Hour with Julia & Kimberley – Episode 6: Best books of 2014 & Award show chat

This month we talk about the books we read in 2014 that were our favourites (note that not all the books were published in 2014, but they were still awesome – spoiler alert: Rainbow Rowell featured heavily on my list!) and we used Kimberley’s mention of this gorgeous book about red carpet dresses to segue… Continue reading ->
